Nice place to bring the family, especially kids. There’s animal shows and presentations which are quite fun. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Nice place to spend half a day. Recommended!

Attending the Zoo Johor was a wonderful experience. It was a very hands on experience that allowed us to be up close and personal with the elephants. We were able to feed, bathe, shower and cover the elephants in mud.

By far the best zoo I have ever visited. The animals are less restricted and can move about a large area, sometimes even between enclosures should they choose. While still being safe, there is also less of a barrier between you and the animals, giving a greater experience and a respectful degree of personal interaction. Unlike what I have seen in other zoos, the animals seem at peace, and the enclosures are immaculate. T
